Location: Sizewell C Project, Suffolk
Hours: Typically 45 hours per week (flexibility available—just let us know!)

Your Role

As a Section Engineer, you will be at the forefront of planning, engineering control, and supervising site operations within a highly regulated environment. You’ll serve as the technical lead on-site, collaborating closely with the Sub-Agent to ensure that all work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills while contributing to a major infrastructure project!

What Will You Be Responsible For?

In this role, you will:

• Interpret and implement drawings, specifications, and design requirements on-site.
• Supervise site operations and coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe and efficient delivery of works.
• Assist with short-term planning, program updates, and progress tracking to keep the project on schedule.
• Produce and review risk assessments and method statements, delivering safety briefings to foster a strong safety culture.
• Maintain as-built records and quality documentation to meet stringent quality standards.

What Are We Looking For?

This role is perfect for you if you:

• Hold a Degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
• Have relevant experience in civil engineering, including site engineering and setting out in infrastructure, highways, heavy civils, or structures.
• Possess strong knowledge of construction methods, temporary works, and quality systems.
• Have strong IT skills, with confidence in using MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Are working towards professional membership such as ICE or CIOB and hold a CSCS card.
