Role Overview
Position: Senior / Supervising Social Worker
Hours: 28 hours per week, flexible on days
Salary: Up to £39,392.73 per annum FTE, depending on experience
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
Location: Central West Midlands - covering Birmingham, Tamworth, Wolverhampton, Walsall, and Shrewsbury

Your Responsibilities
As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will:
- Recruit, train, assess, support, and supervise a diverse range of Foster Parents.
- Ensure high-quality placements for looked-after children.
- Work closely with a friendly and dynamic team to foster a supportive environment.
What We’re Looking For
We seek an enthusiastic and committed self-starter who can work independently while maintaining strong connections with team members and Foster Parents. The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Possess excellent assessment and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Have good IT skills and the ability to produce high-quality reports.
- Have a solid understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding.
- Share our creative vision and drive, whether you’re new to fostering or an experienced Supervising Social Worker.
