Role Overview

Position: Senior / Supervising Social Worker

Hours: 21 hours per week, flexible on days

Salary: Up to £39,392.73 per annum FTE, depending on experience

Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract

Covering Area: North Nottinghamshire and North Derbyshire

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will:

• Recruit, train, assess, support, and supervise a diverse range of foster parents.
• Ensure high-quality placements for looked-after children.
• Work closely with foster parents to provide ongoing support and guidance.

What We’re Looking For

We seek an enthusiastic and committed self-starter who can work independently while maintaining strong connections with team members and foster parents. The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Possess excellent assessment skills and strong communication abilities.
• Have a good working knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Bring recent experience in fostering and children’s services (desirable but not essential).
