Role Overview
Position: Senior / Supervising Social Worker
Hours: 28 hours per week, flexible on days
Salary: Up to £39,392.73 per annum FTE, based on experience
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
Location: Central West Midlands - covering Birmingham, Tamworth, Wolverhampton, Walsall, and Shrewsbury

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will be an integral part of our friendly and dynamic team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Recruiting, training, assessing, supporting, and supervising a diverse range of foster parents.
- Ensuring high-quality placements for looked-after children.

What We’re Looking For
We seek an enthusiastic and committed self-starter who can work independently while staying connected with team members and foster parents. Here’s what you need:
- A qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Recent experience in fostering and children's services is desirable, but we welcome less experienced candidates.
- A solid understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding.
- A drive for innovation and a passion for our creative vision, whether you're new to fostering or an experienced Supervising Social Worker.
