Role Overview

Position: Senior / Supervising Social Worker
Hours: 21 hours per week (flexible days)
Salary: Up to £39,392.73 per annum FTE, based on experience
Contract: 12-month fixed-term
Location: North Nottinghamshire and North Derbyshire

Your Role

As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will:

  • Recruit, train, assess, support, and supervise a diverse range of Foster Parents.
  • Ensure high-quality placements for looked-after children.

Who You Are

  • You are an enthusiastic self-starter, capable of working independently while staying connected with team members and Foster Parents.
  • You possess excellent assessment skills and strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, along with good IT skills for high-quality report writing.
  • You are a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration. While recent experience in fostering and children's services is desirable, we welcome less experienced candidates as well.
  • You have a solid understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding.
  • You share our innovative vision and are driven to make a positive impact, whether you are new to fostering or an experienced Supervising Social Worker.
