About the Role
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, working 2 days per week (Mondays and Fridays) during term time only. The salary ranges from £21,257.48 - £23,232.69 FTE (£8,502.99 - £9,292.41 pro-rata).

Your Responsibilities
- Mentor and support one pupil or a small group (no more than six)
- Assist the classroom teacher during lessons
- Report on pupils' progress and collaborate with staff to meet their needs
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities
- Help with lesson planning and classroom preparation
- Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage interaction and learning
- Adapt resources to meet the needs of young people
Requirements
- Strong basic education, ideally to A level, with a minimum of GCSE grade 4/C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
- Experience working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting
- Confidence to take on additional responsibilities (e.g., food hygiene, Forest School, school yoga)
- Experience in behavior management techniques
- Commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check
