Role Overview

Position: Senior / Supervising Social Worker
Hours: 28 hours per week, flexible on days
Salary: Up to £39,392.73 per annum FTE, based on experience
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
Location: Central West Midlands - covering Birmingham, Tamworth, Wolverhampton, Walsall, and Shrewsbury

Your Role

As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in:

• Recruiting, training, assessing, supporting, and supervising a diverse range of foster parents.
• Ensuring high-quality placements for looked-after children.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who is:

• An enthusiastic self-starter, capable of working independently while staying connected with team members and foster parents.
• A strong communicator with excellent assessment skills and high-quality report writing abilities.
• A qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration. Experience in fostering and children’s services is desirable, but we welcome less experienced candidates as well.
• Knowledgeable about relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding.
• Driven and innovative, ready to share our creative vision.
