Your Role as a Room Leader
As a Room Leader, you will:
- Lead the room to deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
- Role model best practices and support staff development and consistency.
- Oversee high-quality learning records and systems (EyLog/EyMan).
- Ensure safety, wellbeing, and EYFS compliance at all times.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification: Essential
- Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years: Essential
- Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations: Desirable
- Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS: Essential
- Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
