Your Role

As a School Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Vacuuming and mopping floors
• Emptying and cleaning bins
• Cleaning toilets and bathroom spaces
• Replenishing bathroom supplies
• Dusting, polishing, and straightening furniture
• Tidying communal areas and removing hazards
• Wiping down paintwork, including skirting boards and window ledges

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking candidates who possess:

• Previous professional cleaning experience in a large commercial building, preferably in a school, college, or university
• The ability to lift and move heavy equipment
• A flexible approach to work and readiness to undertake various cleaning tasks
• Proficiency in using a wide range of cleaning equipment and products
• Strong communication skills

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris.

Working Conditions

This is a Part-Time position, working 17.5 hours per week during term time only. The salary is £21,257.48 FTE (approximately £9,920.16 actual).
