Location & Hours
Location: Sizewell C Project, Suffolk
Hours: Typically 45 hours per week (flexibility available—just let us know during our conversation!)

Your Role
As a Section Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, providing engineering control, and supervising site operations within a highly regulated environment. You’ll be the technical lead on site, supporting the Sub-Agent to ensure that all works are executed correctly, efficiently, and safely. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills while contributing to a major infrastructure project!
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Interpret and implement drawings, specifications, and design requirements on site.
- Supervise site operations and coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe and efficient delivery of works.
- Assist with short-term planning, program updates, and progress tracking to keep the project on schedule.
- Produce and review risk assessments and method statements, delivering safety briefings to foster a strong safety culture.
- Maintain as-built records and quality documentation to meet stringent quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You hold a Degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
- You have relevant experience in civil engineering, including site engineering and setting out in infrastructure, highways, heavy civils, or structures.
- You possess strong knowledge of construction methods, temporary works, and quality systems.
- You have strong IT skills and are confident using MS Office and AutoCAD.
- You are working towards professional membership such as ICE or CIOB and hold a CSCS card.
