Role Overview

Position: Senior / Supervising Social Worker

Hours: 21 hours per week, flexible on days

Basic Salary: Up to £39,392.73 per annum (FTE), dependent upon experience

Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract

Covering Area: North Nottinghamshire and North Derbyshire

Your Role

As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will:

  • Recruit, train, assess, support, and supervise a diverse range of Foster Parents.
  • Ensure high-quality placements for looked-after children.

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed self-starter who can:

  • Work independently while maintaining strong communication with team members and Foster Parents.
  • Demonstrate excellent assessment skills and strong written and verbal communication.
  • Produce high-quality reports with good IT skills.

You must be a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration. While recent experience in fostering and children's services is desirable, we welcome less experienced candidates who are eager to learn.
