Role Overview

Position: Senior / Supervising Social Worker

Hours: 21 hours per week (flexible on days)

Basic Salary: Up to £39,392.73 per annum (FTE, dependent upon experience)

Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract

Covering Area: North Nottinghamshire and North Derbyshire

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will:

  • Recruit, train, assess, support, and supervise a diverse range of foster parents.
  • Ensure high-quality placements for looked-after children.
  • Maintain strong communication with team members and foster parents.

What We’re Looking For

We seek an enthusiastic and committed self-starter who can work independently while staying connected with the team. The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
  • Possess excellent assessment and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Have good IT skills and the ability to produce high-quality reports.
  • Have a working knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding.
  • Share our creative vision, whether you’re new to fostering or an experienced Supervising Social Worker.
