Role Overview
Position: Senior / Supervising Social Worker
Hours: 21 hours per week, flexible on days
Basic Salary: Up to £39,392.73 per annum (FTE), dependent upon experience
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
Covering Area: North Nottinghamshire and North Derbyshire

What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Senior / Supervising Social Worker to join our friendly and dynamic team. In this role, you will:
- Recruit, train, assess, support, and supervise a range of Foster Parents.
- Ensure high-quality placements for looked-after children.

About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed self-starter who can work independently while staying connected with team members and Foster Parents. The ideal candidate will:
- Have excellent assessment skills and strong communication abilities (both written and verbal).
- Possess good IT skills and the ability to produce high-quality reports.
- Be a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Have recent experience in fostering and children’s services (less experienced candidates will also be considered).
- Have a solid understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding.
