Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Thames Water Framework team based in Mogden STW, Twickenham. This is your chance to lead a major Water Treatment Works upgrade project and make a significant impact!

Location & Hours

Location: Mogden STW, Twickenham

Hours: 45 hours per week (some flexibility available—just let us know during our conversation!)

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial management of our projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the commercial management of project sections, subcontract packages, and supplier accounts from procurement to final account settlement.
  • Preparing and managing valuations, applications for payment, monthly cost forecasts, and cashflow reports.
  • Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring effective mitigation strategies are implemented.
  • Overseeing change control processes and ensuring variations and contractual entitlements are agreed promptly.
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members, promoting high standards of commercial management and professional growth.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
  • You have commercial experience in the construction or infrastructure sector, ideally with MEICA exposure.
  • You are self-motivated and ambitious, with a genuine desire to learn and progress your career.
  • You possess strong communication and relationship-building skills, confidently engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • You hold a full driving license.
