Location & Hours

Location: East Riding of Yorkshire
Hours: 45 hours per week (some flexibility available—just let us know when you chat with us!)

Your Role

As a Works Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in the AMP8 framework for Yorkshire Water. You’ll oversee on-site operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of construction activities. This is your chance to be the key link between site teams, subcontractors, and senior management, driving projects to meet specifications, quality standards, and program requirements.

Key Responsibilities

In this exciting role, you will:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee site works for safe, timely, and cost-efficient delivery.
• Provide health and safety leadership to operational teams, ensuring compliance with all safety requirements.
• Manage General Foreman, Foreman, Site Supervisors, and other resources to achieve project goals.
• Maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders to enhance the company’s reputation.
• Control short and medium-term programmes, ensuring timely ordering and delivery of plant and equipment.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

• You have an HNC in a construction-related subject or Level 6 NVQ in Construction Site Management.
• You can demonstrate knowledge and practical application of site construction activities and management of staff, operatives, and subcontractors.
• You hold a Gold Supervisors or Black Managers Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
• You have completed the Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
• You thrive on collaboration with clients and stakeholders to find innovative solutions and build strong relationships.
