Join Our Team as a Lift Engineer in Glasgow!

Company: Stannah | Position: Full-Time | Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £60,000 (including OTE), based on skills and experience.

Working Hours:

Enjoy a great work-life balance with our schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
  • Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Glasgow and its surrounding areas. You’ll be responsible for your own patch, ensuring lifts are serviced, faults are diagnosed, and everything runs smoothly and safely, with local team support when needed.

Your Patch:

  • Covering Glasgow and nearby areas
  • Structured route (no random national travel)
  • A mix of commercial, residential, and public sites
  • Mostly staying within your allocated area

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Performing servicing, repairs, and routine maintenance
  • Responding to breakdowns and callouts
  • Diagnosing faults and ensuring lifts are operational
  • Maintaining site safety and compliance
  • Completing site logs and basic paperwork

Lift Engineer Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience as a lift engineer (service/repair)
  • Full UK driving licence
