Salary: Up to £60,000 (including OTE), based on skills and experience

Working Hours

Enjoy a great work-life balance with our hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
  • Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish!)

Your Role

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Glasgow and its surrounding areas. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Servicing lifts and ensuring they run smoothly
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Keeping everything safe and compliant
  • Working with a supportive local team when needed

Your Patch

You'll have your own area to cover, which includes:

  • Glasgow and nearby locations
  • A structured route—no random national travel!
  • A mix of commercial, residential, and public sites

Key Responsibilities

As a Lift Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Performing servicing, repairs, and routine maintenance
  • Responding to breakdowns and callouts
  • Conducting fault finding to get lifts back in operation
  • Maintaining safety and compliance on all sites
  • Completing site logs and necessary paperwork

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience as a lift engineer (service/repair)
  • A full UK driving licence
