Job Details
Location: Bournemouth
Hours: 45 hours per week, covering shifts from Monday to Sunday. You'll also be part of an On Call rota.
Note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
Your Role
As an Operative, you'll be an integral part of our South West Water team, contributing to essential projects like mains repairs, new connections, and metering. Here, teamwork and collaboration are at the heart of what we do, and your commitment to health and safety will help us maintain a secure work environment.
What Will You Be Responsible For?
Your daily tasks will include:
- Carrying out planned or reactive work on large diameter mains as directed by water services.
- Meeting productivity targets while adhering to strict timelines.
- Updating job documentation using a tablet.
- Being part of a rapid response team dedicated to delivering and restoring clean water.
- Promoting wellbeing and fostering an inclusive workplace that values diversity.
What Are We Looking For?
This role is perfect for you if you have:
- Previous experience in highways or utilities.
- A valid Full driving licence.
- A CSCS card, EUSR Water Hygiene, or NRSWA certification (training can be provided).
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver quality results.
