Location & Hours

Locations: Longden Road SY3 9EL, Craven Arms SY7 8NR, or Oswestry SY11 4AH
Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary

Salary: £27,976 – £31,000 per year + benefits

Your Role

As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you will be an essential part of our Shropshire team, responsible for:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance activities on local highways
  • Participating in winter maintenance and emergency callout services
  • Operating various plant and equipment to perform your duties effectively
  • Using the CONFIRM application to accurately record site works and upload photographic evidence
  • Collaborating with team members and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

  • Have experience in highways maintenance
  • Hold 12d Lantra Traffic Management training
  • Possess an LGV driving licence
  • Exhibit strong organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills
  • Are trustworthy, self-motivated, and have excellent customer service skills
