Working Hours
You'll be working 45 hours per week, covering shifts from Monday to Sunday. Additionally, you’ll be part of an On Call rota to ensure our services run smoothly around the clock.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Operative, you will play a vital role in our team, contributing to various projects such as mains repairs, new connections, and metering. Your daily tasks will include:
- Undertaking planned or reactive work on large diameter mains as directed by water services.
- Maintaining productivity levels while adhering to timescales and targets.
- Updating all relevant documentation for each job using a tablet.
- Being part of a rapid response team dedicated to delivering and restoring clean water.
- Promoting wellbeing and fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated.
What We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for you if you possess:
- Previous experience in highways or utilities.
- A valid Full driving licence.
- A CSCS card, EUSR Water Hygiene, or NRSWA certification (training can be provided).
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver quality results.
