Your Role
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in the commercial management of projects across Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your quantity surveying skills while working alongside seasoned professionals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the commercial management of projects, focusing on cost and risk mitigation.
- Conducting site measurements and preparing information for payment applications.
- Reviewing sub-contractor payment applications.
- Supporting the project commercial lead in accurately assessing and reporting on project financial positions.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate financial viability and produce commercial reports.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- You have post-graduate practical experience in quantity surveying within a main contracting organization.
- You possess knowledge of NEC / JCT Contracts.
- You are confident in engaging with client representatives, sub-contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- You have a full driving license.
