Location & Hours

Location: Leeds, Yorkshire
Hours: 40 hours per week (some flexibility available—just let us know when we chat!)

Your Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be an integral part of our collaborative team, helping to manage costs and risks while ensuring that quality standards are met. You’ll work alongside seasoned professionals, gaining invaluable experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Assist in the commercial management of projects, focusing on cost and risk mitigation
  • Conduct site measurements and prepare information for payment applications
  • Review sub-contractor payment applications
  • Support the project commercial lead in assessing and reporting on financial positions
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate financial viability and produce commercial reports

What We’re Looking For

This position is perfect for you if you:

  • Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying
  • Have post-graduate practical experience in quantity surveying within a main contracting organization
  • Possess knowledge of NEC / JCT Contracts
  • Are confident in engaging with client representatives, sub-contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Hold a full driving license
