Are you ready to make a difference in your community? We’re on the lookout for a Traffic Management Operative to join our dynamic team in Brixworth. This is your chance to be part of our highways maintenance crew, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety of work sites across the region.
Key Details
Location: Brixworth – site-based, 5 days per week
Hours: Permanent Full-time, 40 hours per week
Salary: £31,000 - £35,000 per year + excellent benefits

Your Responsibilities
As a Traffic Management Operative, you will work closely with dedicated maintenance teams, providing essential traffic management support for various projects, including carriageway, footway, and drainage works. This hands-on role is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills while contributing to the improvement of local road networks.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Conducting traffic management risk assessments to ensure site safety
- Reviewing and implementing traffic management arrangements for minor works
- Supporting maintenance activities such as hand sweeping, cleaning, and litter picking
- Safely loading, unloading, and handling materials and equipment
- Collaborating with your team to deliver high-quality maintenance projects
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for someone who:
- Holds LANTRA Traffic Management qualifications at T1/M1 and T2/M2 levels
- Has hands-on experience in highway maintenance or a similar field
- Has completed relevant SHE matrix training for the role
- Is committed to safety and looks out for colleagues and the public
- Thrives in a team environment and enjoys contributing to shared success
