Location

You'll be working in one of the following locations:

  • Longden Road, SY3 9EL
  • Craven Arms, SY7 8NR
  • Oswestry, SY11 4AH

Hours

40 hours per week

Salary

Enjoy a competitive salary ranging from £27,976 – £31,000 per year plus benefits!

Your Responsibilities

As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you will:

  • Carry out highway maintenance duties, including routine activities on the network.
  • Participate in winter maintenance and emergency callout services.
  • Operate various plant and equipment to perform your duties effectively.
  • Utilize the CONFIRM application to accurately record site works and upload photographic evidence.
  • Collaborate with team members and subcontractors to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You have experience in highways maintenance.
  • You hold a 12d Lantra Traffic Management training certification.
  • You possess an LGV driving licence.
  • You have strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • You are trustworthy, self-motivated, and have excellent customer service skills.
