Location & Hours
Locations: Longden Road SY3 9EL, Craven Arms SY7 8NR, or Oswestry SY11 4AH
Hours: 40 hours per week
Compensation
Salary: £27,976 – £31,000 per year + benefits

Your Role
As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you’ll be an essential part of our Shropshire team, responsible for:
- Performing routine maintenance activities on local highways
- Participating in winter maintenance and emergency callout services
- Operating various plant and equipment to carry out your duties effectively
- Utilizing the CONFIRM application to accurately record site works and upload photographic evidence
- Collaborating with team members and subcontractors to ensure a safe working environment
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Have experience in highways maintenance
- Hold a 12d Lantra Traffic Management training certificate
- Possess an LGV driving license
- Exhibit strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Are trustworthy, self-motivated, and have excellent customer service skills
