Your Role
As an Apprentice Administrator, you will play a vital role in maintaining our fostering operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support, including:
- Maintaining databases
- Producing professional emails and letters
- Processing incoming and outgoing post
- Photocopying and message taking
- Processing invoices
- Supporting the social work team with data collection and filing
- Maintaining accurate records of families and children placed
- Building supportive relationships with foster parents
- Liaising with Local Authority Social Workers and other professionals
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety records
- Taking minutes of team meetings and distributing them
- Creating content for our online platforms and newsletters
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Basic administration skills
- GCSE/equivalent in maths and English (A Level 2 Functional Skills qualification can be completed alongside your apprenticeship)
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage your own workload
- A proactive attitude and willingness to seek guidance when needed
