Job Details
Location: Nationwide - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00) - some flexibility on hours available.

Your Responsibilities
As a Road Safety Engineer, you will play a vital role in our Road Safety Team, delivering high-quality technical outputs for road safety initiatives. Your contributions will impact highway schemes, from small improvements to major infrastructure projects. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
- Conducting Road Safety Audits, Walking, Cycling, and Horse-Riding Assessments, and Equality Impact Assessments in line with DMRB standards
- Preparing comprehensive reports and technical documents to meet client specifications
- Undertaking site visits during both daytime and nighttime as required
- Providing innovative solutions to engineering challenges and technical advice to design teams
- Building positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, attending meetings, and reporting on project progress

- You’re a member of a professional body (IEng/CEng status or working towards it)
- You hold a valid CSCS Card and UK driving licence
