Are you ready to make a difference? We’re on the lookout for a Working Electrical Supervisor to become a key player in our Wastewater Asset Assurance Programme team based in the beautiful Thames Valley.
Location & Hours
Location: Thames Valley - Site Based - Little Marlow and Forest Hill, Buckinghamshire
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired; just let us know when you speak to us.
Your Role
As a Working Electrical Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of our self-delivery team, engaging in hands-on electrical installation work while supervising and mentoring fellow electricians. This is your chance to be a cornerstone of our MEICA delivery team, working on capital frameworks across Thames Water supply and treatment regions, and providing design and build services for both new and existing infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will:
- Install low-voltage electrical systems for both temporary and permanent works, including containment systems, power and control cables, and testing installations.
- Supervise electricians and mentor apprentices, ensuring all work meets the highest standards.
- Provide safe isolations of LV electrical systems and issue electrical safety documents, including Permit to Work and Isolation Certificates.
- Produce and review electrical RAMS and project ITPs, conducting electrical audits in line with Kier's ESRs.
- Support the development of commissioning documentation and collaborate with the supply chain to troubleshoot as needed.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Hold a Full driving licence and relevant JIB Gold Card or ECS card.
- Have proven industry experience in the Water Industry with strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Possess C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations, NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations, and C&G 2391 Inspect and Test.
- Are familiar with IEE 18th edition wiring regulations, SMSTS, and Confined Spaces qualifications.
- Have a solid understanding of sewage and water treatment processes, systems, and typical M&E plant and equipment.
