Salary: £46,202.89 per year (with potential earnings up to £53,402.89 through bonuses)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Since our establishment in 1999, we have built a strong reputation in the residential adolescent childcare sector, operating seven children's homes, all rated as Good by Ofsted. Now, we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our established 3-bed children's home in Bristol.
Your Impact
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Shape the culture of the home and support your team.
- Make a meaningful difference to children who need consistency, care, and ambition.
- Work alongside an experienced Responsible Individual and a knowledgeable Head of Care for guidance and support.
Key Responsibilities
As the Registered Manager, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring high standards of care and safeguarding.
- Build a positive, reflective, and supportive culture for your staff team.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and Ofsted standards.
- Ensure care planning, reports, and monitoring systems are completed to a high standard.
- Represent Headway Adolescent Resources professionally with external agencies and the local community.
What We Offer

- £2,000 car allowance.
- Occupancy bonus: £175 per child after the first child.
- Ofsted performance bonuses: £500 for a Good report and £1,000 for an Outstanding report.
- On-call payments: £10 per day Monday to Friday and £50 per day on weekends.
- 22 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays.
- Non-contributory pension with a 9% employer contribution.
- Company sick pay after successful completion of probation.
- Enhanced sick pay of five days' full sick pay.

About You
We are looking for a values-led and resilient leader who is passionate about making a difference in children's lives. You should:
- Have a thorough knowledge of Children's Homes legislation and safeguarding procedures.
- Hold a Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent).
- Be willing to attain a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
- Have at least two years' relevant experience in residential care for children.
- Possess at least one year's experience supervising and managing staff.
- Have a full manual driving licence and access to your own car.
