Location: Birmingham
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility available, just let us know when you speak to us.

Your Role
This is an exciting opportunity to supervise and coordinate electrical installation works on water and wastewater projects across the Severn Trent Water region. You'll manage direct-staff electricians, ensuring that all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Collaborating closely with project managers, site teams, and client representatives, you'll play a crucial role in bringing electrical projects to life from installation through to successful handover.
Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Supervisor, you will:
- Manage and supervise direct-staff electricians, ensuring daily activities are clearly briefed, planned, and safely controlled.
- Coordinate labor, materials, tools, and work fronts to maintain productive progress against agreed programs.
- Review electrical design from a constructability perspective and work with engineers to resolve technical queries.
- Issue and manage electrical permits, coordinate isolations, and ensure compliance with site controls.
- Liaise with client representatives and site teams to ensure work requirements and completion expectations are understood and met.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Hold a recognized Electrical Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- Have SSSTS or SMSTS, 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), and Level 3 Inspection & Testing qualifications.
- Possess an ECS / JIB Gold or Black Card (Supervisor).
- Have post-qualification experience in electrical installation, testing, and supervision.
- Hold a Full driving license.
