Hours: 45 hours per week (with some flexibility available)

Your Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate electrical installation works on water and wastewater projects across the Severn Trent Water region. You’ll be at the forefront of managing direct-staff electricians, ensuring that all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Collaborating closely with project managers, site teams, and client representatives, you’ll play a crucial role in bringing electrical projects to life from installation to successful handover.
Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Supervisor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing and supervising direct-staff electricians, ensuring daily activities are clearly briefed, planned, and safely controlled.
- Coordinating labor, materials, tools, and work fronts to maintain productive progress against agreed programs.
- Reviewing electrical designs from a constructability perspective and collaborating with engineers to resolve technical queries.
- Issuing and managing electrical permits, coordinating isolations, and ensuring compliance with site controls.
- Liaising with client representatives and site teams to ensure work requirements and completion expectations are understood and met.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Hold a recognized Electrical Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- Have SSSTS or SMSTS, 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), and Level 3 Inspection & Testing qualifications.
- Possess an ECS / JIB Gold or Black Card (Supervisor).
- Have post-qualification experience in electrical installation, testing, and supervision.
- Hold a Full driving license.
