Location Flexibility

Where You’ll Be: Choose from Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich, or Plymouth. Enjoy agile working with the option to work from home 1-2 days a week!

Work Hours

Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexible hours available to suit your lifestyle.

Competitive Salary

Salary: Starting from £60k per annum.

Are You…?

• Practically-minded: With a solid grounding in civil, structural, and/or geotechnical engineering principles and applicable design standards?
• A Chartered Engineer (CEng): Or do you have equivalent experience?

• Enjoy applying first principles thinking to real-world construction challenges, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on safety, buildability, and sustainability?
• Have experience in temporary works design and/or management, or other practical construction experience?

Your Responsibilities

As a Principal Engineer, you will lead the delivery of a wide range of complex construction engineering services, including:

• Acting as Project Lead for multiple complex projects, managing technical scope, program, budget, and relationships from bid through to delivery.
• Producing, checking, and reviewing design outputs such as calculations, sketches, drawings, 3D models, reports, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with CDM, SHE procedures, and QA processes.
• Developing yourself and the wider team, contributing to continuous improvement of processes and systems to meet current and future challenges.
