Are You…

  • Practically-minded, with a solid foundation in civil, structural, or geotechnical engineering principles?
  • Working towards Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer status (CEng or IEng) or have equivalent experience?

Your Responsibilities

As a Temporary Works Design Engineer, you will:

  • Deliver a broad range of complex construction engineering services, including temporary works design and checking.
  • Review permanent designs for compliance and buildability, supporting tenders and preconstruction planning.
  • Provide technical support to resolve construction-stage and post-construction issues.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Producing, checking, and reviewing design outputs such as calculations, sketches, drawings, and reports.
  • Acting as Project Lead for simpler projects, managing technical scope, budget, and relationships.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of processes and systems within the business.
