Position Details

Location: Nationwide - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00) - some flexibility on hours available!

Your Responsibilities

As a Road Safety Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in our Road Safety Team, delivering high-quality technical outputs for road safety initiatives. Your contributions will span a variety of highway schemes, from small improvements to major infrastructure projects. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Conducting Road Safety Audits and assessments in line with DMRB standards
  • Preparing comprehensive reports and technical documents
  • Undertaking site visits during both daytime and nighttime as required
  • Providing innovative solutions and technical advice to design teams
  • Building positive relationships with clients and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You’re a member of a professional body (IEng/CEng status or working towards it)
  • You hold a valid CSCS Card and UK driving licence
  • You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy building strong relationships
  • You’re thorough, disciplined, and focused on delivering projects
  • You’re committed to safety and making a positive impact on communities
