Your Role

As a Casual Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people in a welcoming home environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting young people with their daily routines
  • Building positive relationships and becoming a trusted adult
  • Helping them develop confidence, life skills, and independence
  • Ensuring they feel safe, supported, and encouraged every day

What We’re Looking For

While experience with children or young people is beneficial, it’s not a requirement. What matters most is your attitude and desire to help. Here’s what we need from you:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Health and Social Care, or equivalent (or be willing to work towards it)
  • Be friendly and approachable, with strong communication skills
  • Be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us)

Working Conditions

This is a casual position with a shift pattern on rotation, providing ad hoc cover. You’ll earn between £12.79 - £14.50 per hour, depending on your qualifications and experience.
