Working Hours

Compensation

Salary: Starting from £40k per annum

Are You…

• Practically-minded: With a solid grounding in civil, structural, and/or geotechnical engineering principles and knowledge of design standards?
• On the path to Chartered Engineer: Working towards CEng or IEng status, or have equivalent experience?

Your Responsibilities

As a Temporary Works Design Engineer, you will contribute to a wide range of complex construction engineering services, including:

Main Responsibilities

• Producing, checking, and reviewing design outputs such as calculations, sketches, drawings, 3D models, reports, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with CDM, SHE procedures, and QA processes.
• Acting as Project Lead for simpler projects, managing technical scope, programme, budget, and relationships with preconstruction and construction teams from bid through to delivery.
• Fostering your own development while contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and systems to meet current and future challenges.
