We are excited to invite a dedicated Children's Home Registered Manager to lead our brand new 4-bed home in Doncaster.

About the Role

As the Registered Manager, you will be the heart of our home, ensuring that we provide high-quality care while promoting the rights and individuality of each young person. You will lead a passionate team of care workers, guiding them to achieve positive outcomes in the physical, psychological, emotional, and social development of our residents.

Main Responsibilities

  • Service and Practice: Develop and deliver exceptional care in line with legislation and organizational policies.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records for both young people and staff, implementing effective monitoring systems.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, supervise, and support staff, ensuring continuous professional development.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the service budget and ensure financial targets are met.
  • External Relations: Promote our organization positively with external agencies and contribute to leadership forums.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Proven experience in managing a team and a comprehensive understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
  • Qualifications: A relevant Diploma Level 5 or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards it.
  • Enthusiasm: A genuine passion for providing the highest quality care and education.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 39 hours per week, including sleep-in duties as per the home’s rota. Some office days will be necessary for administrative tasks.
