As a Primary Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in enriching the learning experiences of pupils with diverse special educational and learning needs. Join us in fostering independence and encouraging full participation in both the curriculum and school life!
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, tailored to meet the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
- Support the class team in creating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
- Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
- Build strong, positive relationships with your pupils, fostering interaction and encouraging successful learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A strong educational background, ideally to degree level.
- Previous successful teaching experience.
- Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
- Proficiency in effective behavior management techniques.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn.
