Position Overview

Job Title: Teacher
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Salary: £28,000 - £39,520
Contract Term: Permanent
Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm
Location: Battle, East Sussex

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a teacher at ISP School, you will:

• Teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, focusing on Science, Maths, and the wider curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of your students.
• Utilize our positive behaviour policy to help students become responsible citizens.
• Motivate and inspire students to develop a love for learning and thrive in their educational journey.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have successful teaching experience, particularly with vulnerable children.
• Possess SEN experience, focusing on nurturing children with SEMH and ASC needs.
• Have a solid understanding of the national curriculum, especially in Science and/or Maths.
• Exhibit excellent behaviour management skills and a reflective teaching practice.
• Understand therapeutic approaches to education and adapt your teaching to meet individual needs.
• Be able to deliver dynamic and engaging lessons that captivate students.
