Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Mechanical Site Supervisor to join our dynamic Thames Water East Hyde Project team, based in Harpenden STW, Hertfordshire.

Your Role

As a Mechanical Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supervising and controlling all mechanical site activities. Your primary focus will be ensuring compliance with Kier’s health and safety standards while working as part of our strategic partnership with Thames Water. Together, we’ll deliver exceptional design and build services for both new and existing infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Support the Site Manager in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees, supply chain partners, and visitors.
  • Supervise work to ensure compliance with Method Statements and Work Instructions.
  • Review and sign off project Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), managing them through Kier’s common data environment.
  • Oversee mechanical contractor testing, ensuring alignment with Thames Water’s asset standards.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain on-site to troubleshoot and assist in developing commissioning documentation.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

  • Hold a full driving license and have proven experience in the Water Industry.
  • Possess an NVQ/BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical installations and a relevant CSCS Card.
  • Have SSSTS/SMSTS and Confined Spaces qualifications.
  • Bring a solid understanding of sewage and water treatment processes, systems, and typical M&E plant/equipment.
  • Exhibit strong judgment and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of Mechanical Test Regimes.
