Your Role

As a Building Services Manager, you will be the in-house subject matter expert, providing essential building services expertise from tender through to delivery and commissioning. You will work closely with project teams and external partners to ensure excellence in MEP delivery across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the selection and management of specialist sub-contractors to meet Kier standards.
  • Collaborate with design teams to manage M&E packages and review technical submittals.
  • Oversee the coordination of M&E services on-site and ensure quality installations.
  • Take charge of the commissioning process and compliance of as-built and maintenance manuals.
  • Provide technical advice and solutions to project teams throughout the build phase.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You possess strong technical knowledge of M&E design and installations, including modern mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • You hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a mechanical or electrical discipline (NVQ/HND/HNC/CIBSE).
  • You have experience in a main contracting environment, managing specialist sub-contract partners.
  • You’ve successfully delivered large building services packages valued at £5M+ throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • You hold an SMSTS, CSCS Card, and a Full driving licence, as significant travel will be required.
