Location: Twyford, Buckinghamshire
Hours: Permanent Full-time, 45 hours per week (flexibility available!)
Salary: Starting from £65,000 per year + private healthcare + £6,700 annual car allowance + comprehensive benefits package

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be at the forefront of managing the commercial performance of this high-profile project. Collaborating closely with operational and commercial teams, you’ll help maximize profitability and ensure smooth project execution. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Manage commercial resources and contract administration to maximize project value and achieve gross margin targets.
• Prepare and submit applications for payment, valuations, compensation events, claims, and commercial reporting data.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support effective cash flow management through accurate measurement, valuation, and invoicing processes.
• Value subcontractor works and certify interim and final payments in line with contractual requirements.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for someone with a strong commercial acumen who thrives on complex infrastructure and civil engineering projects. We’re seeking candidates who possess:

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering, highways, rail, infrastructure, or construction sectors.
• A relevant qualification such as a Degree, HNC, or HND in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong commercial and financial management skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and commercial reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of building productive relationships across project teams.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
