Your Role as Room Leader
As a Room Leader, you will:
- Lead the room in delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
- Role model best practices and foster staff development and consistency.
- Oversee high-quality learning records and systems (EyLog/EyMan).
- Ensure safety, wellbeing, and EYFS compliance at all times.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification.
- Essential: Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years.
- Desirable: Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating.
- Essential: Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
- Essential: Fluency in written and spoken English.
