Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic East Hyde STW Project team in beautiful East Hyde, Bedfordshire.

Location & Hours

Location: East Hyde, Luton
Hours: 45 hours per week (with some flexibility available—just let us know during our conversation).

Your Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in leading the commercial delivery of key work packages across the East Hyde STW Growth Project. This is your chance to shape the commercial strategy as the project evolves through detailed design, ensuring that robust commercial controls are in place. You’ll provide leadership to the commercial team while managing project delivery in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this exciting role, you will:

• Lead procurement activities, including tender evaluation, recommendations, and subcontract awards.
• Administer subcontract accounts, valuations, change events, and final accounts.
• Provide leadership, support, and mentoring to Quantity Surveyors within the project team.
• Manage project change, risk, and opportunity while ensuring contractual compliance.
• Contribute to commercial reporting, including CVR, forecasting, and cash flow management.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

• Hold a relevant academic qualification in a construction-related degree.
• Have a full driving license.
• Possess prior experience in a commercial role for a contractor.
• Are familiar with a variety of contract forms.
• Can work collaboratively as part of a team.
