Position: Business Analyst - European Supply Chain & Merchandising Technology Team

Are you ready to make an impact? Sysco Europe, which includes Sysco GB, Sysco Ireland, Sysco France, and Menigo in Sweden, is on the lookout for a passionate Business Analyst to join our dynamic European Outbound Technology team. This is a full-time, fixed-term role (12 months) where you’ll report directly to the Functional Lead.

Important Note: This role involves significant travel across Great Britain, including overnight stays during the week. Therefore, a valid GB driving license and your own transport are essential.

Your Role

As our Business Analyst, you will be the vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the successful delivery of IT solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering, documenting, and interpreting business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Creating and documenting test scenarios, scripts, and user outcomes.
  • Acting as a translator between the business and IT, facilitating effective communication.
  • Understanding and documenting high-level conceptual designs and specifications.
  • Planning and managing small-scale changes as needed.
  • Providing consistent support throughout the lifecycle of small to medium changes.
  • Collaborating with other business analysts to prioritize and share insights.
  • Ensuring that internal processes effectively meet business needs from start to finish.
  • Staying updated on business change opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills.

About You

To thrive in this role, you should be a relationship builder who engages positively and proactively with stakeholders. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Transport experience is desirable, along with the ability to ask insightful questions to extract necessary details from stakeholders.
  • A keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills to present and document information effectively.
  • An analytical and inquisitive mindset, capable of thinking both tactically and strategically.
  • The ability to identify risks and issues early in projects and suggest effective mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in requirements gathering through direct interaction with business users or in workshop settings.
  • Familiarity with prioritization techniques, such as MOSCOW.

Working Conditions

This role offers a flexible hybrid working model, allowing you to work 1-2 days per week from your local site for team collaboration and meetings. You should be within a commutable distance to ensure seamless participation.

While speaking French is a plus, it is not a requirement for this position.
