Hours:

40 hours per week, with flexible hours available to suit your lifestyle.

As a Principal Highways and Drainage Engineer, you’ll be part of a 100-strong team working on a diverse and high-profile portfolio, with access to Kier’s impressive £11bn+ project pipeline. You’ll support complex construction and major infrastructure schemes from concept through to delivery.

Are You…

• Practically-minded with a solid grounding in Highways and Drainage engineering principles?
• A Chartered Engineer (CEng) or possess equivalent experience?

Your Responsibilities:

As a Principal Engineer, you will lead the delivery of a wide range of complex construction engineering services, including:

Main Responsibilities:

• Act as Project Lead for multiple complex projects, managing technical scope, programme, budget, and relationships from bid through to delivery.
• Produce, check, and review design outputs such as calculations, sketches, drawings, 3D models, reports, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with CDM, SHE, EA procedures, and QA processes.
• Develop yourself and others, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and systems to meet current and future challenges.
