Work 40 hours a week with flexible hours available. Starting salary is £40k per annum.

Are You…
- Practically-minded with a solid grounding in highways and drainage engineering principles?
- Working towards Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer status (CEng or IEng) or have equivalent experience?

Your Responsibilities
As a Highways and Drainage Design Engineer, you will:
- Deliver a range of complex construction engineering services, including highways and drainage temporary works design and checking.
- Review permanent designs for compliance and buildability.
- Support tenders and preconstruction planning.
- Provide technical support to resolve construction-stage and post-construction issues.
Main Responsibilities
- Produce, check, and review design outputs such as calculations, sketches, drawings, 3D models, reports, and risk assessments.
- Act as Project Lead for simpler projects, managing technical scope, programme, budget, and relationships from bid through to delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and systems to meet current and future challenges.
