Are you ready to make a significant impact in the water and wastewater sector? We’re on the lookout for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our dynamic Thames Water team based in Mogden, Twickenham. This role will involve working on exciting local projects, ensuring you’re always engaged and challenged!

Location & Hours

Location: Mogden, Twickenham
Hours: 45 hours per week (some flexibility available—just let us know when we chat!)

Your Role

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering major water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the Thames Water region. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems from concept to handover. This is a fantastic opportunity for engineers from various sectors looking to advance their project engineering careers!

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Support the delivery of electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle and review technical documentation.
  • Coordinate electrical installations with site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Attend Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests, and commissioning activities.
  • Assist with installation and commissioning activities related to LV and HV systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Liaise with Thames Water representatives, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You hold an HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline, or have equivalent practical experience.
  • You have experience in utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing, water, power generation, or industrial environments.
  • You possess knowledge of industrial electrical installations, MCCs, and power distribution systems.
  • You understand health, safety, and quality requirements on construction projects.
  • You have a full driving license and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
