Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a passionate Electrical Project Engineer to join our dynamic Thames Water team at our site in Maple Lodge, Rickmansworth.
Location & Hours
Location: Maple Lodge, Rickmansworth
Hours: 45 hours per week (some flexibility available—just let us know when we chat!)

Your Role
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering major water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the Thames Water region. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will be involved in:
- Supporting electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle and reviewing technical documentation.
- Coordinating electrical installations with site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Attending Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests, and commissioning activities.
- Assisting in the installation and commissioning of LV and HV systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Monitoring quality, safety, and programme performance of electrical works while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You hold an HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline, or have equivalent practical experience.
- You have experience in utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing, water, power generation, or industrial environments.
- You possess knowledge of industrial electrical installations, MCCs, and power distribution systems.
- You understand health, safety, and quality requirements on construction projects.
- You have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, along with a Full driving licence.
