Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Capernwray, Carnforth

Salary: Base salary of £28,915.33 per annum, with potential earnings of up to £35,635.33 including sleep-in shifts

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? At Bayview, we’re looking for a dedicated Residential Home Team Leader to join our family-style home. You’ll be supporting up to four young individuals aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Your Role

As a Children's Team Leader, you will:

  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for our young residents.
  • Support daily operations and maintain Good/Outstanding Ofsted standards.
  • Step in for the Registered Manager when needed, ensuring continuity of care.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Working with Children & Young People.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Produce, review, and maintain high-quality care plans in line with legislation and Ofsted standards.
  • Build positive relationships with young people, engaging them in activities that promote their development and wellbeing.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment by modeling positive behavior and adhering to health & safety policies.
  • Communicate key information effectively with young people, families, and professionals.
  • Assist with budgeting, rota management, and household planning.
  • Lead team meetings and encourage open communication for continuous improvement.
  • Manage staffing levels and conduct staff supervisions.
  • Stay updated with required training and raise concerns appropriately.
